Chasing Hope is a short documentary film we created at the age of 17, exploring life in Kibera, the largest slum in East Africa through the voices of its residents. By contrasting perspectives from both the slums and the city’s wealthier areas, the film highlights the stark differences in values and living conditions. Through personal reflections on fears, faith, nostalgia, and the future, it reveals the diverse outlooks that shape this society.

My first fiction film based on part of Kafka's "Trial". Film is telling a story of a man who's lifelong journey is told by him walking up the staircase. Each level is symbolising his struggles, weaknesses and greed.
